Regional houses in Lisbon are a phenomenon of non-profit, associative structures, of the 20th century, resulting from migratory flows from villages to the city in search of better living conditions. The work plan includes the collection, production and analysis of information using the qualitative method and the techniques of ethnographic approach: participant observation, semi-structured interviews and documentary production. The sense of knowing and realize the object of study, going through history, mission, your values and, consequently, by the attitudes and perceptions of their representatives. The composition, through a multidisciplinary perspective, that assumes identity and memory factors, contribution to the historical and cultural heritage in the material and immaterial unity. The results show and point out the importance and recognition of these places of traditional Portuguese popular culture. The migrant as intermediate Being, with all that this implies for enrichment and worldview, material revised in the construction of the film 'Chieira'. Process experienced by the subject-documentarist-researcher, which seeks to intensify the relationship between the practice of documentary making, the productivity of the experience of the people filmed and the reflection about doing. The recreated images of regionalist actors and their expressions of popular roots in the capital. Experiment of the cinematographic genre and the capture of reality, a narrative idea to tell a reflection of the contemporary.
