Resumo
O presente trabalho propõe auxiliar na compreensão do significado de ser um indivíduo
dentro da sociedade e sua trajetória histórica, assim como o modo pelo qual o indivíduo se
relaciona com a museologia e em especial com a sociomuseologia. Busca realizar um
panorama de como o conceito de indivíduo se transforma de acordo com o contexto histórico
no qual se apresenta. As identidades surgem como respostas míticas às dúvidas existenciais
dos indivíduos. O medo da morte e do esquecimento leva o indivíduo a conservar sua
memória, no intuito de transcender para a eternidade. Surgem então os museus como
ferramentas de poder nas mãos daqueles que ditam a cultura. O Estado controla os indivíduos
através da educação; tanto nas escolas quanto nos museus paira um sentimento de unicidade
do corpo social nacionalista, onde a desindividualização é uma tática de governo. A desilusão
com a ideia de progresso e o fracasso dos Estados e das sociedades em proteger aos cidadãos,
o indivíduo é obrigado a buscar sua própria sorte e é exposto às múltiplas informações e
diferentes culturas que se mesclam continuamente criando novas linguagens e identidades. A
Nova Museologia surge neste cenário multicultural com o intuito de valorizar a voz dos que
necessitam de representatividade para exigir seus direitos e assim poder existir como seres
humanos. O diálogo aparece como ponto central para a existência do respeito à diversidade e
a Sociomuseologia atua através da capacitação de indivíduos que dialogam, transformam e
são transformados pelas ações, pelo meio no qual se vive através de uma educação
humanizadora em busca da transformação e melhoria do social.
The objective of the present work is, in its first part, helping the comprehension of what being an individual within society is like and their historical path creating an overview of how the concept of individual is transformed, according to the current historical context they find themselves in. Identities are brought up as mythical answers to existential questions of individuals. A second moment presents us with the fear of death and falling into oblivion which drives individuals to preserve his mind and memory, as an effort to transcend to eternity. Museums comes along as powerful tools on hands of those who dictates culture. State controls individuals through education; a feeling of a nationalist social body unity, where deindividuation is a maneuver coming from the government. In a third and last part, we are faced with the disillusion of a progressive idea and failed attempts by the government to protect its citizens, individuals are forced to search for their own share of luck and they are exposed to a great deal of information and different cultures that are constantly blending, creating new languages and identities due to the multiculturalism offered to us by modern word globalization. The New Museology comes into this multicultural scenery in order to have unrepresented people and their voices heard and give them the right to claim their rights so they can exist as people of integrity in their own individuality. Discussion comes up as the center piece for the existence of respect on diversity matters, and sociomusicology acts through the qualifications of individuals who are willing to discuss, they transform and are transformed due to their actions performed in their social day to day life by having an humanizing education in search of transformation and social betterment, just as the way individuals relate to Museology and especially social Museology.
