principal do F.C.P.F.).
Football is a sport of an unparalleled magnitude in society, in which several aspects of action are associated: sport-competitive, social, integrative, formative, among many others, which raised its study and, later, understanding to levels of excellence. The evolution of the game in all its aspects has generated a need for constant adaptation and learning, where the coach needs to be updated about its trends, particularly in terms of training as a key element in the development of athletes and teams, in a competitive context increasingly more demanding and under general scrutiny. This document was developed for the Internship Report, of the Master's Degree in Football – from training to High Competition, of the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies. The internship was carried out in the U.19 team of Futebol Clube Paços de Ferreira, which participated in the national championship of the 1st division of Juniors, with the Trainee-Coach having the function of assisting the head coach in the operationalization of the training and game process throughout of the sporting season. The report describes and presents critical reflections of all the processes developed in the team throughout the year, namely the training and game process; observation and analysis model and the formulation of a technical-scientific study on the offensive organization of the team compared to the 1st and 12th classified in the competition. The results of the study point to the existence of statistically significant differences in the achievement of the goal regarding the moment of the game, attack method and factor of being the first team to score in the match. In short, and sportingly, the main objective outlined for the team was achieved (maintenance in the main division of the level and the debut of three elements in the main team of F.C.P.F.). As for the goals set for the trainee coach, the high personal and professional development was demonstrated, reinforced by the invitation to join the club's technical staff.
