Artes visuais e competências sócio-emocionais: instrumento de ensino para uma maior consciencialização

Este estudo tem por objetivo geral oferecer uma nova estratégia/ ferramenta de ensino para as disciplinas de Artes Visuais, modelizado através de um Kit Pedagógico. Este Kit procura redimensionar as práticas pedagógicas através do desenvolvimento de uma abordagem didático-pedagógica com base na consciencialização das competências emocionais e sociais. Para a sua aplicação, foram selecionados alunos do ensino secundário do Curso Cientifico-Humanístico de Artes Visuais de uma escola da rede pública do concelho de Palmela. No período de outubro a dezembro do ano de 2013 foram desenvolvidas aulas de Desenho A com os alunos de uma turma de 10.º ano e outra de 11.º ano.
Estas aulas foram apelidadas pelos próprios alunos como “aula do Kit Pedagógico”. Nelas foram realizados questionários no início e no fim da realização do Kit, por forma a aferir os conhecimentos e validar o trabalho apresentado. Todas as tarefas efetuadas possuíram uma linha condutora entre si, no intuito de despertar através das Artes a consciencialização das competências emocionais e sociais, ao que se procedeu com a elaboração de registos gráficos.
Constatou-se, do ponto de vista dos alunos alvo do estudo, uma boa recetividade para a realização do Kit Pedagógico “Um olhar sobre o meu mundo”. Ficou validado que o Kit tem aplicabilidade nas disciplinas de Artes Visuais; contudo, comprovou-se que, na generalidade dos alunos, existe uma grande lacuna de hábitos de desenho e, por sua vez, da consciencialização das suas próprias Competências Sócio-Emocionais. Concluiu-se, assim, que existe uma grande necessidade de ajudar os alunos a desenvolver essas competências e que, por sua vez, os instrumentos de ensino formais nas disciplinas das Artes Visuais podem ser um bom veículo, uma melhor ferramenta para essa aprendizagem.
This study has the objective to provide a new strategy / teaching tool for the disciplines of Visual Arts, modeled through a Pedagogical Kit. This kit seeks resize pedagogical practices through the development of a didactic and pedagogic approach based on awareness of the emotional and social skills. For application secondary school students of the Scientific - Humanistic Visual Arts Course of a public school in Palmela were selected. In the period from October to December of the year 2013 Drawing lessons grade were developed with the students in a class of 10th Third year and another 11th. These lessons have been dubbed by the students as "class Pedagogical Kit”. In these questionnaires were performed at the beginning and end of the embodiment of the kit, in order to assess the knowledge and validating the submitted work. All tasks performed possessed a conductive line between themselves in order to raise awareness through the arts of emotional and social skills, it proceeded with charting records. We found that, in terms of target students in the study, a good receptivity for the realization of Pedagogical Kit “A look at my world." It was validated that the kit has applicability in the disciplines of visual arts, however, it was shown that, in most students, there is a wide gap of drawing habits and in turn, the awareness of their own emotional and social skills. Thus it was concluded that there is a great need to help students develop these skills and, in turn, the instruments of formal education in the disciplines of Visual Arts can be a good vehicle, a better tool for such learning.
