Resumo
Para uma liderança de sucesso, deverá ser medido competências como gestão, além das
competências emocionais elevadas, saber aplicar os estilos de liderança a cada situação
deparada no seio da organização. Ser influenciada e saber envolver a equipa para atingir
com maestria os objectivos propostos.
A presente investigação retrata os estilos de liderança presentes e aplicados pelos líderes
das IPSS’s estudadas. Temas como motivação, satisfação, abordagens e conceitos de
liderança, foram propostos a serem estudados, com recurso a revisão bibliográfica de
outros estudos já efectuados.
Foi obtida a informação necessária, com recurso de um questionário a uma amostra da
população ativa na Área do Distrito Lisboa, que foi alvo de tratamento estatístico com
várias IPSS, demostraram que um líder eficaz deverá não só revelar conhecimento
técnico para transmitir aos liderados que executam as tarefas, mas também a capacidade
para lidar com as pessoas, para comunicar com os funcionários no sentido de realizarem
o trabalho desejado.
Estes mesmos resultados demonstraram a preferência transversal dos líderes nas IPSS’s
pela adopção do estilo de liderança democrático, independentemente das variáveis
situacionais que explanam algumas situações conflituais. No sentido oposto, o estilo de
liderança autocrático é o menos adoptado pelos mesmos.
For successful leadership, skills such as management should be measured, in addition to high emotional skills, knowing how to apply leadership styles to each situation faced within the organization. Be influential and know how to involve the team to masterfully achieve the proposed objectives. The present investigation portrays the leadership styles present and applied by the leaders of the IPSS's studied. Topics such as motivation, satisfaction, approaches and leadership concepts were proposed to be studied, using the literature review of other studies already carried out. The necessary information was obtained, using a questionnaire to a sample of the active population in the Lisbon Municipality Area. The results obtained from the sample of 19 responses to the questionnaire, this sample that was subject to statistical treatment with several IPSS, showed that an effective leader must not only reveal technical knowledge to transmit to the subordinates who perform the tasks, but also the ability to deal with people, to communicate with employees to get the job done, These same results demonstrated the transversal preference of leaders in the IPSS's for the adoption of the democratic leadership style, regardless of the situational variables that explain some conflict situations. In the opposite direction, the autocratic leadership style is the least adopted by them.
