Resumo
A presente dissertação, Pré-fabricação na Construção, tem como
base o estudo mais aprofundado e a aplicação de técnicas de construção
recorrendo à prefabricação de betão armado, através da realização de um
projeto situado da Avenida de Boavista, na cidade do Porto, desenvolvido
na unidade curricular de Projeto 5.
Procurou-se realizar um breve enquadramento histórico do uso
da prefabricação na construção e a evolução dos métodos perante o
surgimento de novas matérias primas e técnicas construtivas ao longo do
tempo, colmatando numa análise um pouco mais detalhada de dois tipos
de prefabricação, Standard e Customizada.
Posteriormente foram selecionados dois casos de estudo:
a análise da obra dos arquitetos Walter Gropius e Pier Luigi Nervi
nomeadamente no uso da prefabricação e nos diferentes métodos
utilizados no desenvolvimento dos seus projetos.
Por fim, trabalho culmina com a apresentação de um projeto
para um Hotel com o programa definido pela disciplina de Projeto, onde
se aplicam, alguns sistemas de prefabricação que deram origem ao tema
principal desta dissertação
The present dissertation, Prefabrication in Construction, is based on a deeper study and the application of construction techniques using reinforced concrete prefabrication, through the drawing of a project located at Avenida de Boavista, in the city of Porto, developed at the subject Project 5. Sought to provide a brief historical brackground on the use of prefabrication in construction and the methods’ evolution towards the emergence of new raw materials and construction techniques over time, closing in a slightly more detailed analysis of two types of prefabrication, Standard and Customized. Posteriorly, two studies cases were selected, Water Gropius and Pier Luigi Nervi and some of their works were analyzed, reflecting on the differents uses of prefabricated methods for different types and materials. Culminating in a practical application of this constructive method through the execution of a project for a Hotel with a defined program by the subject Project, accompanied by a concise description and justification of the project and its constructive methodology
