Resumo
Nesta tese iremos abordar um tema que, apesar de ser apontado como central pelos principais atores do campo da Sociomuseologia ainda não recebeu um estudo aprofundado: identificar e sistematizar o papel do educador Paulo Freire nos museus e na Museologia, estabelecendo as influências teóricas diretas e reconhecendo as diretrizes socioeducativas para a construção de uma teoria e prática museológica voltada para o exercício consciente da cidadania. A Pedagogia freireana em grande medida tem sido esteio para a Sociomuseologia, os escritos sobre esta têm vindo a pontuar a relação ou mesmo a influência de Paulo Freire na formulação de seus conceitos e paradigmas, basta um olhar mais atento para perceber as presenças do pensamento freireano na Sociomuseologia, seja no discurso ou na sua práxis. Não apenas em extensão a obra de Paulo Freire irá se integrar, como ainda há espaço para o aprofundamento e a intensificação de sua utilização no campo dos museus e da(s) Museologia(s). Possibilidades que se afirmam e confirmam a cada dia, com a tônica da função educativa dos museus, onde essa é cada vez menos uma atividade exclusiva de uma seção específica, mas está integrada potencialmente em todas as atividades dos museus, sendo não mais apenas um instrumento auxiliar da educação formal, mas um espaço de educação permanente, ao longo da vida, voltada à cidadania e ao respeito da diversidade cultural, uma teoria e prática museológica comprometida com a comunidade, com o exercício consciente da cidadania e de corte freireano. Uma Pedagogia radical, crítica e dialógica agrega uma nova perspectiva à Sociomuseologia no seu campo teórico-aplicado, conduzindo-a ao esperançar num processo de aprendizagem comprometido com a vida. In this thesis, we will address a topic that, despite being pointed out as central by the main actors in the field of Sociomuseology, has not yet received an in-depth study: identifying and systematizing the role of educator Paulo Freire in museums and Museology, establishing direct theoretical influences and recognizing socio-educational guidelines for the construction of a museological theory and practice focused on the conscious exercise of citizenship. Freirean pedagogy has largely been a mainstay for Sociomuseology, the writings about it have been punctuating the relationship or even the influence of Paulo Freire in the formulation of his concepts and paradigms, just a closer look is enough to perceive the presence of Freirean thought in Sociomuseology, either in discourse or in its praxis. Not only in extension will Paulo Freire's work be integrated, but there is still room for deepening and intensifying its use in the field of museums and Museology(s). Possibilities that assert and confirm each day, with the emphasis on the educational function of museums, where this is less and less an exclusive activity of a specific section, but is potentially integrated into all museum activities, no longer just an instrument auxiliary of formal education, but a space of permanent education, throughout life, focused on citizenship and respect for cultural diversity, a museological theory and practice committed to the community, with the conscious exercise of citizenship and Freirean style. A radical, critical and dialogical pedagogy adds a new perspective to Sociomuseology in its theoretical-applied field, leading it to hope in a learning process committed to life.
