Global studies of large sectors of economic activity are usually conducted and published, but data may be insufficient to support growth and sustainability strategies of firms with a specific activity and may not be sufficiently clear where they should focus their attention. With comparative indicators of business management of its business universe, or sub-sector, managers can perceive the positioning of their companies towards their direct competition. In this work, the main management indicators of the Hospitality sector companies with restoration in 2016 are awarded by IAPMEI with the "SME Leader Prize". The option to analyse a restricted core of companies took into consideration the similarity between them: firstly, they are companies with excellent performance in their sector of activity, allowing the comparison, secondly, they can serve as reference to other companies in the sector. The results of the analysis are very interesting; it should be noted that in the companies studied its profitability is proportional to its turnover, with a large EBITDA growth when turnover exceeds 4 million euros.
