This report was carried out within the Traineeship Curricular Unit, of the Master’s in Teaching Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education at Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário de Lisboa. It was developed at Escola Secundária da Portela during the academic year 2020-2021, and it’s organized in four areas: Teaching, Class Management, School Sports and a Seminar. A small study has been done in each area. In the Teaching area, I explored the “Cooperative Learning in the practice of Volleyball and Ground Gymnastics”, in which it was demonstrated the progression in the learning objectives of a student with difficulties in two priority subjects. The gains achieved were only possible through the definition of realistic and individualized goals, as well as cooperative work with model students. There was an overcoming of the student's abilities, and at the same time, she remained motivated during her improvements. In the Class Management area, I worked in three areas: relationship with the Education Guardians (EE) Class Council (CT) and student’s support. However, my focus was on student’s support, through the elaboration of a “Mentorships Program”. The progression of the student with most difficulties in the Portuguese subject stands out, having achieved success in that subject at the end of the 2nd Period, as well as the improvement of her personal skills. In School Sports I discussed “The importance of internal competition in the learning improvement of learning”, in which the students developed, acquired knowledge and guidance in their roles as judges and participants, through the construction and analysis of their own choreography. This duality of functions allowed the continuous improvement of their performance. In the Seminar area, I addressed the theme “Coherence and Effectiveness of Physical Education in the 1st Cycle in Agrupamento de Escolas Portela e Moscavide (AEPM) (Coadjuvation Project)”. A guiding document was created, which identified the learning acquired by the 3rd and 4th year students, according to the structure and orientation of the “Essential Learning” and PNEF. The document was accepted by the Head Teachers, Group Director as well as the Department of Physical Education (DEF).
