dc.description.abstractA adaptação de um edifício antigo às necessidades atuais nunca é tarefa simples a um arquiteto. A introdução de infraestruturas para atender à necessidade de renovação de ar e de garantia de conforto térmico em construções concebidas sem estas funções são um grande desafio, uma vez que as condutas necessárias para passagem de ar renovado e condicionado tem grandes dimensões, e estes imóveis não possuem previsão de local para sua instalação, o que leva a acender o problema de como fazê-lo de modo a minimizar seu impacto na pré-existência. Assim, o presente trabalho terá como fim o estudo sobre a introdução de elementos capazes de garantir a boa qualidade do ar interior e o conforto térmico na restauração de edificações antigas, mais precisamente no caso prático do projeto proposto para a cadeira de Projeto 5, do quinto ano do curso de mestrado integrado em arquitetura da Universidade Lusófona do Porto, cujo objeto é a reabilitação do principal campus universitário desta mesma instituição e seu anexo. dc.description.abstractThe adaptation of an old building to today’s needs is never an easy task for a n architect . The introduction of infrastructures to attend the necessity to air renovation and to guarantee thermal comfort in constructions that were not conceived with this functions are a great challenge, since the ducts that are necessary for the passage of air threated and condition ed are of great dimensions, and these buildings do not have a previous plan for the passage and installation of such, which brings the problem of how to do it in ways to minimize it’s impact in the preexistence Therefore, the present work is developed as an study of the introduction of elements capable to grant good air quality an thermal comfort in the restauration of old buildings, more precisely in the practical case of the matter of Project 5, of the fifth year of integrated master’s degree in architecture of the Universidade Lusófona do Porto, which object is the rehabilitation of the main campus of this same university and it’s appendix.
