provocado incansáveis debates no Brasil, sobretudo a nível educacional.
The present study focused on inclusive education, teacher training and pedagogical practice of elementary school teachers I in an educational unit of the Municipal Network of the city of Manaus-Amazonas in the academic year 2016 to 2017. It aimed to understand the relationship between inclusive education, teacher training and pedagogical practice of Elementary School I teachers, from an educational unit of the Municipal Network of the City of Manaus. In the current literature, we sought ways to discuss and make possible reflections on inclusion, a topic that has provoked indefatigable debates in Brazil, especially at the educational level. For this, we searched for articles by authors that approach the present study, which enabled us to clarify concepts about inclusive education and the need for continuing teacher training, given the reality of the public inclusive education network. Qualitative research was used as methodology. The instrument used for data collection in the study was the application of a semi-structured questionnaire with open and closed questions, related to teacher training to work with students with SEN. From the analysis of the data it was verified that the teachers consider the need for more investment and training for teachers working with students with SEN. It is pointed out, therefore, that for teachers, continuing education has more to do with the practical questions of the classroom than with those who are born of the theoretical field and later reflect in their school routine. The results showed that the teachers considered that they did not have enough knowledge to work with students with SEN. It was concluded, in general terms, that teachers consider their initial and continuing education to be inadequate with regard to the implementation of inclusive education.
