O trabalho colaborativo apoiado pelas tecnologias: o exemplo da investigação qualitativa

Resumo
Se por um lado, a investigação coloca dificuldades e oportunidades que justificam a adoção de uma
estratégia de trabalho colaborativo, por outro lado, existem novas tecnologias que oferecem ao investigador meios
de explorarem processos de partilha e de colaboração, em tempo real, num mesmo projeto, independentemente
da sua localização geográfica. Com este artigo pretende-se partilhar uma reflexão acerca das potencialidades e
os desafios que a abordagem colaborativa na investigação coloca ao investigador e sobre as possibilidades que
as tecnologias têm vindo a oferecer para a operacionalização do processo colaborativo de investigação. Para
cumprir este objetivo tomamos por referência os estudos de um grupo de investigadores portugueses, que se têm
dedicado a desenvolver um software de dados qualitativos (o webQDA) disponível em ambiente colaborativo e
distribuído. Apesar de promoverem o desenvolvimento de ferramentas promotoras do trabalho em grupo online,
estes investigadores constatam uma reduzida relevância e prática da investigação colaborativa.

Although they promote the development of tools that promote group work online, these researchers fi nd a reduced relevance and practice of collaborative research.
