Arte, corpo e espaço: um estudo sobre a expressão artistica no espaço escolar

O objetivo principal deste estudo é comprovar o impacto que as intervenções artísticas desenvolvidas por alunos no espaço escolar têm nesses mesmos alunos e na comunidade. De acordo com estes pressupostos encetou-se um conjunto de perguntas de partida: O espaço escolar é motivador para o aluno? O espaço escolar é realmente pensado e aproveitado para afirmar as necessidades de expressão, locomoção, motivação e interação dos jovens alunos com os seus pares e comunidade? Em que medida o ensino artístico ou as disciplinas artísticas dentro do espaço escolar podem contribuir nesse sentido, ao atuar sobre esse mesmo espaço?
Adoptou-se uma metodologia qualitativa, optando-se por um estudo tipo estudo de caso.
Este estudo foi desenvolvido na prática em contexto escolar com uma turma de 11º ano do Curso Geral de Artes Visuais, no ano letivo de 2012/2013, na disciplina de Desenho A na Escola Secundária Leal da Câmara em Rio de Mouro, Sintra. Os alunos trabalharam o corpo, a identidade e o espaço através de três projetos que foram pensados para uma abordagem gradual às questões do corpo e da identidade e para uma relação com o espaço progressivamente mais complexa.
Tendo em conta o impacto que foi possível aferir através de entrevistas e questionários junto dos alunos envolvidos e de outros atores-chave neste contexto escolar, este estudo demonstrou a importância e a validade dos projetos acima referidos. Se para os alunos constituiu um processo importante no questionamento e afirmação da sua identidade, promoveu ao mesmo tempo um um sentimento de valorização benéfico no ambiente escolar, com consequências em toda a comunidade.
The main objective of this study is to demonstrate the impact that the artistic interventions developed by students in the school space have on students and the community. According to these assumptions undertook a series of questions: The school space is motivating for the students? The school space is really thought out and tapped to affirm the needs of speech, locomotion, motivation and interaction of young students with their peers and community? How can the artistic education or the artistic disciplines contribute within the school space, acting on this same space? A qualitative methodology was adopted, opting for a case study type study. This study was carried out in practice in school context with a class of 11th year of Visual Arts, in the academic year 2012/2013, in the discipline of Drawing in Leal da Camera high school in Rio de Mouro, Sintra. The students worked the body, identity and space through three projects, which were designed for a phased approach to the issues of the body and of identity and a relationship with the space progressively more complex. Regarding the impact that it was possible to ascertain through interviews and questionnaires with the students involved and other key actors in this context, this study demonstrated the importance and validity of the aforementioned projects. If for students was an important process in the questioning and affirmation of their identity, promoted at the same time a beneficial a sense of appreciation in the school environment, with consequences for the whole community.
