O ensino de trigonometria : uma investigação com estudantes do curso de pós-graduação no ensino da matemática

Resumo
Esse trabalho apresenta os resultados de uma investigação que foi desenvolvida
em conjunto com os alunos de duas turmas da pós-graduação no Ensino da
Matemática. O objetivo principal desse estudo é analisar como foi constituída a
abordagem dos conceitos da Trigonometria no Ensino Médio nas escolas
brasileiras durante as últimas décadas. A devida verificação foi fundamentada por
um estudo bibliográfico pertinente às concepções da catequização da Matemática
e a ascendência do conceito e do ensino da Trigonometria. A angariação dos
subsídios ocorreu através de um estudo de campo por meio de um questionário
que, por sua vez, é focado na caracterização das percepções do âmbito escolar e
da instituição de ensino superior, sobressaindo primordialmente à abordagem dos
conceitos da Trigonometria no processo de formação escolar do estudante. O
embasamento metodológico que conjecturou nossa pesquisa contempla
primordialmente a análise dos dados para consolidar a informação que indique
como foi efetivada a abordagem dos assuntos da Trigonometria no Ensino Médio
nas escolas do Brasil. Na conclusão desta pesquisa, assinalamos que o ensino da
Trigonometria se esbarra em uma problemática que causa, entre outros aspectos,
o desestímulo dos estudantes em aprender os conteúdos dessa disciplina.
This paper presents the results of an research that was developed jointly with students from two classes of graduate studies in Mathematics Teaching. The main objective of this study is to analyze how the approach was made about the concepts of trigonometry in high school in Brazilian schools during the last recent decades. The proper check was supported by a bibliographical study relevant to the concepts of mathematics catechism and the ascendance of the concept and teaching of trigonometry. The raising of subsidies occurred through a field study through a questionnaire which, in turn, is focused on the characterization of the perceptions of the school and higher education institution, standing primarily to the aproach to the trigonometry concepts in the training process school student. The methodological basis conjectured that our research focuses primarily on data analysis to consolidate the information that indicates how was made the approach to the subject of trigonometry in high school schools in Brazil. At the conclusion of this research, we note that the teaching of trigonometry is hampered by a problem that causes, among other things, the lack of enthusiasm for students to learn the contents of this discipline.
