Formação profissional e prática pedagógica em educação física com idosos

Resumo
Neste trabalho analisamos o processo de formação dos profissionais de Educação Física que
atuam em programas de atividade física para idosos e sua relação com a prática pedagógica.
Tomamos como questão de partida compreender que influência o currículo praticado nos
cursos superiores de Educação Física tem produzido na prática pedagógica dos professores
que trabalham com idosos. Elencamos como objetivo da pesquisa analisar a formação do
profissional de Educação Física que atua em programas de atividade física para idosos na
cidade do Recife, numa relação entre sua formação e prática pedagógica. De forma específica
objetivamos caracterizar a formação dos profissionais de Educação Física numa referencia aos
elementos de aproximação e distanciamento da relação formação acadêmicos e prática
pedagógica; conhecer a forma como os professores visualizam a sua própria formação
acadêmica para a sua prática pedagógica; vivenciar os conteúdos curriculares dos cursos de
Educação Física que existem na cidade do Recife; Estruturamos a pesquisa em três capítulos.
No primeiro capítulo intitulado Educação Física para toda vida, realizamos uma revisão
literária do assunto, onde apresentamos o estado da arte do tema. Nessa revisão elaboramos
uma discussão sobre a atividade física e o bem estar do idoso, os profissionais de educação
física no Brasil, a qualidade de vida do idoso e as especificidades da terceira idade em relação
à atividade física e finalizamos com uma leitura sobre o currículo numa perspectiva de
mudanças. No segundo capítulo, intitulado Caminhos metodológicos da investigação,
apresentamos a natureza metodológica da pesquisa, no tocante ao tipo de pesquisa, objetivos,
sujeitos e lócus, como também os instrumentos de recolha de dados e os procedimentos de
análise utilizados na investigação. No terceiro capítulo, que tem como título Análise e
discussão dos resultados, analisamos as questões que nortearam a pesquisa com base nos
dados coletados no campo através do questionário aplicado aos 80 alunos de duas turmas em
seu último período de formação acadêmica sendo 40 de uma Universidade e 40 de outra e nas
02 entrevistas realizadas com os professores das instituições investigadas que foram a
Universidade de Pernambuco/UPE e a Universidade Salgado de Oliveira/UNIVERSO, ambas
localizadas na cidade do Recife/PE. Por fim, apresentamos às considerações finais
estabelecendo os alcances e limites da investigação no tocante a função do currículo dos
cursos de educação física, a atividade física para o idoso e a prática pedagógica dos
professores de educação física voltadas para o idoso.
In this work we analyze the process of formation of physical education professionals engaged in physical activity programs for the elderly and its relationship to pedagogical practice. We take as a starting point to understand what influence the curriculum practiced in university courses of Physical Education has produced in the pedagogical practices of teachers who work with the elderly. We list the objective of the research was to analyze the formation of the physical education professionals working in physical activity programs for the elderly in the city of Recife, a relationship between their training and teaching practice. Specifically we aimed to characterize the training of Physical Education in a reference to the elements of closeness and distance ratio academic training and teaching practice; know how teachers envision their own academic training for their practice; experience the content of the courses of physical education that exist in the city of Recife; Structure the research in three chapters. In the first chapter titled Physical Education for life, we conducted a literature review of the subject, where we present the state of the art theme. In this review we developed a discussion about physical activity and well-being of the elderly, the physical education professionals in Brazil, the quality of life of elderly and characteristics of old age in relation to physical activity and finalized with a reading of the curriculum in perspective changes. In the second chapter, entitled Paths methodological research, we present the methodological nature of the research regarding the type of research, objectives, subject and locus, as well as the instruments for data collection and analysis procedures used in research. In the third chapter, which is entitled Analysis and discussion of results, we analyze the issues that guided the research based on field data collected through the questionnaire administered to 80 students in two classes in their last period of academic training and 40 of a University and 40 and the other 02 interviews with teachers of the institutions surveyed which were the University of Pernambuco / UPE and the Universidade Salgado de Oliveira / UNIVERSE, both located in the city of Recife / PE. Finally, we present concluding remarks to establishing the scope and limits of research regarding the role of the curriculum of physical education, physical activity for the elderly and the pedagogical practice of physical education teachers facing the elderly.
