Dentistry and oral health in felines tend to be a neglected area by both owners and professionals, however there is a high prevalence of dental diseases, particularly periodontal diseases, which put the well-being of animals at risk. Despite this, there is currently an effort to raise general awareness of this issue and so that owners can understand that oral pathologies are a source of chronic pain, infection, decreased quality of life and can even have systemic consequences. This internship report allowed us to deepen our knowledge in dentistry, focusing on the main feline oral and dental pathologies. The presentation and description of four clinical cases made it possible to demonstrate that oral pathologies in felines are mostly diagnosed and treated in very advanced stages and only when there are complaints of hyporexia or sialorrhea. In the oral studies carried out, different pathologies were diagnosed, and it was found that the use of intra-oral x-rays is essential for a complete and correct diagnosis. Unfortunately, in all cases, the solution for most pathologies was through extraction. Despite being an invasive procedure, it is possible to maintain the animal's comfort during extractions using multimodal analgesia. All recoveries were good, with all post-surgery animals demonstrating comfort and all having started voluntary feeding very early. Overall, after treatment there was an improvement in the animals' appetite and weight gain. Palavras-chave: Dentistry; Periodontal disease; Exodontics; Intraoral x-ray
