The present document highlights all the practices and processes inherent to the completion of the pedagogical internship, carried out at Pinhal Novo Secondary School during the academic year 2022/2023. This internship is part of the master’s degree program in Physical Education for Elementary and Secondary Education, awarded by the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports at Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário de Lisboa. The internship represents the final stage of initial teacher training and is structured into four areas, namely: Teaching, Class Direction, School Sports, and Seminar. The first area, Teaching, was carried out in the 7th -grade class at Pinhal Novo Secondary School during the academic year 2022/2023. This section showcases all the planning processes and evaluations related to the practices adopted throughout the stages. Furthermore, it references the application of a two-week Full-Time Teacher activity, which is an integral part of the pedagogical internship in this area. Additionally, it highlights all the practices related to the TOP project carried out in this area, focusing on the theme of curriculum conferences, directly contributing to the Seminar project. In the Class Direction area, all the work carried out in supporting the homeroom teacher of the 7th -grade class is explicitly presented. It showcases the intern's involvement in three areas of action: student support, communication with families, and pedagogical coordination. It also illustrates the entire process inherent to the TOP project developed in this area, titled "Curricular Articulation - Cooperating in the 7th -Grade," with the main focus being the new teaching methodology implemented in the seventh grade at the school, as explained in its PIP (Pedagogical Innovation Plan). Lastly, one of the highlights of this internship, the Field Trip, is also discussed in this area, presenting all the preparation and subsequent implementation processes involved. In the School Sports area, the internship was carried out with the tennis team at Pinhal Novo Secondary School. The objective was to assist the teacher responsible for the sport, participating in all the practices related to the management of a school sports team. In addition to outlining all the practices and processes involved in planning and evaluation for each stage in this area, the TOP project titled "Motivations for the practice, or lack thereof, of a school sports discipline" is also addressed. This theme was chosen due to the low participation of students in the available sports offerings, which is a common problem for all those responsible for school sports teams. Finally, the Seminar area focused on the theme of curriculum conferences, with the final objective being the presentation of a proposal for implementing these conferences at Pinhal Novo Secondary School. To achieve this, a literature review on the topic was conducted, followed by a questionnaire and interviews with teachers from schools that regularly practice curriculum conferences, to obtain specific knowledge on the subject. Finally, the proposal I developed was elaborated, presented, and discussed with the entire Physical Education group. This proposal represents the outcome of the Seminar and is my contribution to improving the teaching of Physical Education at Pinhal Novo Secondary School, as well as making the most of the existing resources in the school. Keywords: Teaching, Homeroom Management, School Sports, Seminar, Physical Education, Pedagogical Internship, Physical Activities, Physical Fitness.
