Psychosocial risks are related to a dynamic interaction that occurs between the employee and their work, including professional performance, control, autonomy, organization, intensity, work characteristics and the internal and external environment in which the organization operates. This study will focus on firefighters, taking into account the environment in which they operate, the risks inherent to the profession, as well as the scrutiny that is carried out in their performance. In this sense, the current quantitative, cross-sectional and exploratory study has the general objective of understanding and characterizing the relationship between Worker Involvement (ET), Psychosocial Environment (PA) and Commitment to Leadership (CL) in firefighters. To this end, the Ecosystems of Healthy Work Environments (EATS) instrument was used. The sample is made up of 176 firefighters from different national corporations, selected by convenience, aged between 18 and 63 years old, (M = 38.27), with 123 participants being male (69.9%) and 53 female (30.1%). The results show that ET has a positive and direct effect on AP (β = .50, p < .001) and, indirectly through CL, (β = .20, BootSE = .05, BootLLCI = .10, BootULCI = .31). The total effect of ET on AP is (β = .70, p < .001), demonstrating that there is a positive and significant correlation between these variables. This relationship suggests that more involved employees are more likely to develop a positive work environment, characterized by healthy interpersonal relationships, social support, opportunities for growth and personal development. Keywords: Psychosocial Environment; Firefighters; Commitment with Leadership; Worker Involvement.
