This dissertation, carried out in the context of the conclusion of the Integrated Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine by the Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias , had as main objective to explore the area of endocrinology of companion animals, which brought up interest to the author during his curricular internship at CAMV São Roque VetClinic. The present work consists of the study of four endocrinopathies – Feline hyperthyroidism, Hypoadrenocorticism and Hyperadrenocorticism in dogs and Feline Diabetes mellitus - through a literature review of them and the report of a case, which the author accompanied, for each of them. The dissertation also includes the discussion of clinical cases, where the clinical history, clinical signs and laboratory analyses that subsequently lead to a definitive diagnosis are addressed, through more specific diagnostic tests. In this type of pathologies, treatment will depend on individual variables, and pharmacological treatment is very common in a chronic way. The prognosis will depend essentially on the severity of the disease, the presence of concomitant diseases and compliance by the tutors. The cases presented in this dissertation follow the usual course and evolution of these pathologies. Keywords: Hyperthyroidism; Hypoadrenocorticism; Hyperadrenocorticism; Diabetes mellitus
