(35.3%) do masculino.
Conclusões: Todas as
As implicações
destes resultados e limitações do presente estudo foram discutidas.
The present study aimed to examine the predictors of the acceptability of the Online Psychological Intervention for depression and the moderating effect of attitudes towards professional psychological help in the association between the attitudes towards the IPO and the acceptability of the IPO in a sample of Portuguese adults. Method: The study included 417 participants, of which 269 (64.5%) were woman and 147 (35.3%) were men and had a mean age of 27.09 years (SD = 11.58). Results: The final hierarchical regression model for the prediction of the acceptability of online psychological intervention for depression identified depressive symptoms, personal stigma of depression, perceived competence in the use of computers, TUAUT variables, attitudes towards IPO, professional psychological help and the terms of interaction as predictors. The final model explained 57% of the acceptability variance of online psychological intervention for depression. The moderating effect of attitudes towards professional psychological help was also found in the association between attitudes towards the IPO and the acceptability of the IPO. Conclusions: All hypotheses were confirmed except for one, suggesting that attitudinal variables seem to contribute to the acceptability of online psychological intervention. The implications of these results and limitations of the present study were also discussed.
