Local haberdashery stores are disappearing in Portugal - the concern that motivates this research, which seeks to understand the relationship between consumers of haberdashery products and technology, focusing on a model that supports the discovery of the determining factors for the Intention to Use Online haberdashery. The focus on implementing online haberdashery exists because it is believed that online sales platforms can function as complementary drivers of local businesses (appreciated, but falling into disuse), without replacing or adulterating them, proposing an approach to the technological aspect of consumers who use these products and eventually capture the attention of consumers unaware of the potential of haberdashery products. It was discovered that individuals are interested in the usefulness that digital sales platforms can offer, facilitating the purchasing process and their daily lives. The use of technology in their daily lives is viewed with optimism and, despite having some reservations regarding the security of their data and online presence, they are comfortable with the use of these platforms. To reach these conclusions, a Structural Equation Model was used and tested using a quantitative methodology, on individuals residing in Portugal. The quality and validity of the model was tested and the results were analyzed, which complement the material already existing in the textile scientific community and with suggestions for reinventing the panorama of haberdashery in Portugal, present in most of the heritage left from generation to generation, much loved by most Portuguese families. Keywords: Technology Acceptance; Usage Intention; Haberdashery; Perceived Utility; Perceived Ease of use; Online Haberdasheries.
