The effect of Complex Trauma (CT) is intrinsically linked to the individual's personality, it is structural and differs from other types of trauma, which are much more incisive, altering their internal structure (Herman, 1992a). Its study is relevant because this type of trauma differs from all the others. This cross-sectional correlational study was carried out with the aim of analyzing the relationship between CT, Psychopathological Symptomatology and Clinical Decision Variables, in a clinical sample of 29 participants, European Portuguese speakers, aged between 18 and 70, and was collected exclusively online, using the following measurement instruments: Complex Trauma Questionnaire (COMPLEX CT); Psychopathological Symptom Inventory (BSI); Mental Health Inventory reduced version (MHI-5) and the Clinical Decision Making Questionnaire (CDMI) Portuguese version. It was found that individuals who reported experiencing the traumatic experience (TC_EXP.) tended to have higher levels of Emotional Distress and lower levels of Well Being. When experiencing traumatic experiences (TC_EXP.), the rate of psychopathological symptoms increases. However, there are no statistically significant results when we correlate TC_EXP. with clinical decision-making variables
