Resumo
Esta dissertação trata uma investigação-ação feita ao longo de um estágio que
decorreu no período letivo de Outubro 2017 até Junho de 2018. O objeto de estudo residiu
na análise e na implementação dum projeto com o objetivo de dar a conhecer aos alunos a
arte contemporânea portuguesa numa turma de 12º ano do curso científico-humanístico de
artes visuais, à qual nunca tinha sido lecionada a disciplina de história de arte.
Assim, foi na disciplina de oficina de artes que os adolescentes tiveram oportunidade
de adquirir conhecimentos e competências relacionados com o tema em apreço.
Esta dissertação inicia-se com uma revisão bibliográfica, realizando-se uma breve
introdução ao tema, onde são estudadas temáticas tais como: as artes visuais e a sua
importância na formação do aluno, a identidade e representação, sempre focada na
adolescência e nos estádios de desenvolvimento, a representação visual e criatividade, as
artes visuais em Portugal, a obra de arte como fonte de investigação em sala de aula, arte
contemporânea e arte contemporânea portuguesa.
Relativamente à parte empírica foram várias as atividades realizadas ao longo do ano
letivo tais como, visitas de estudo ao CCB, Museu de Arte Popular, Universidade de Belas
Artes, Museu e jardins da Gulbenkian e ao MAAT, que pretendiam motivá-los para o tema.
Ocorreram também exposições, apresentações à turma e visualização de filmes, com intuito
dos conhecimentos serem assimilados tendo em conta a o estádio de desenvolvimento do
adolescente do século XXI.
Este estágio permitiu interligar os conhecimentos teóricos com a prática em contexto
profissional, na medida em que foi possível verificar qual deverá ser a abordagem correta
para com os alunos, incitando a criatividade e o sucesso académico dos mesmos.
This dissertation is about an action research carried out during an internship that took place from October 2017 to June 2018. The object of study was the analysis and implementation of the importance of contemporary art in a 12th-grade class of visual arts, which had never been taught the subject of art history. Thus, it was in the art workshop subject that the adolescents had the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills related to the subject under consideration. This dissertation begins with a bibliographic review, with a brief introduction to the theme, where subjects such as: visual arts and their importance in student formation, identity and representation, always focused on adolescence and stadiums, visual development representation and creativity, the visual arts in Portugal, the artwork as a source of research in the classroom, contemporary art and Portuguese contemporary art. Regarding the empirical part, there were several activities carried out throughout the school year, such as study visits to the CCB, Museum of Popular Art, University of Fine Arts, Gulbenkian Museum and Gardens and MAAT. There were also exhibitions, presentations to the class and film viewing, with the purpose of assimilating the knowledge taking into account the stage of development of the adolescent of the 21st century. This internship made it possible to connect theoretical knowledge with practice in a professional context, as it was possible to verify what should be the right approach towards the students, stimulating their creativity and academic success.
