Resumo
Esta investigação resulta do aprofundamento das aprendizagens realizadas durante a prática de ensino supervisionada com uma turma de 9º ano na Escola Secundária de Mem Martins em Sintra, na disciplina de Educação Visual. Realizou-se o estudo segundo a metodologia de investigação-ação, durante uma Unidade Didática de médio prazo, no decurso do segundo semestre.
O principal objetivo foi o aprofundamento do imaginário dos alunos, partindo das bases culturais e da bagagem visual por eles adquiridas até então. Propôs-se uma temática urbana, com referências artísticas da mesma temática, e por fim, através de uma metodologia projetual, propôs-se ao grupo/turma construir uma cidade, ou um bairro em alternativa. Esta cidade ou bairro devia decorrer de uma reflexão crítica por parte dos alunos sobre a contemporaneidade, abordando os seus grandes desafios e questões, designadamente de questões ambientais. Foi trabalhada a criatividade individual e partilha coletiva, através de um trabalho de entreajuda e inclusão. Deste trabalho reflexivo e criativo surgiram projetos com base sustentável, e de grande importância como tomada de posição na realidade atual.
This research results from the deepening of the learning carried out during the supervised teaching practice with a 9th grade class at Mem Martins Secondary School in Sintra, in the discipline of Visual Education. The study was carried out according to the research-action methodology, during a medium-term Didactic Unit, during the second semester. The main objective was to deepen the students' imagination, starting from their cultural and visual background. An urban theme was proposed, some related artistic references were provided, and finally, through a project methodology, it was proposed to the group/class to build a city, or a neighborhood as an alternative. This city or neighbourhood should be the result of a critical reflection by the students on the contemporary world, addressing its major challenges and issues, particularly environmental issues. Individual creativity and collective sharing were worked on through a work of mutual help and inclusion. From this reflective and creative work emerged projects based on sustainable and of great importance as taking a position in the current reality.
