Research has demonstrated significant associations between coparental cooperation wants the coparental conflict and marital satisfaction. However, little has been studied about the potential moderating effect of maternal attachment to the intimate partner on the association between these variables. Assuming the importance of understanding potential sources of interindividual variability in the association between the co-parenting and marital satisfaction, the present study had four goals. The first two were testing the effect of anxiety on attachment moderator association between coparental cooperation and marital satisfaction and the association between the coparental conflict and marital satisfaction. In the third and fourth objectives was to test the effect of avoidance moderator attachment between coparental cooperation and marital satisfaction an in association between the coparental conflict and marital satisfaction. Data collection was conducted online, using a cross-sectional design, where the participants answered questions related to the study. Participated in study 241 mothers of children to the preschool age. The results showed that mothers with lower levels of anxiety showed attachment of coparental cooperation and marital satisfaction. As well as mothers who showed high levels of coparental conflict presented low marital satisfaction. As for the participants with avoidance of attachment, these reported lower levels of coparental cooperation and low marital satisfaction, as well as high levels of conflict coparental an lower marital satisfaction. It was possible to verify that the attachment of mothers moderates the association between the co-parenting and marital satisfaction. The limitations and clinical implications of the present study were discussed.
