A integração dos imigrantes da língua portuguesa em Portugal : um retrato digital

Resumo
Este estudo visa apresentar resultados sobre a integração dos imigrantes da Comunidade dos Países de Língua Portuguesa (CPLP) em Portugal, tendo em consideração o uso de algumas redes digitais. Para isso, deu-se início a uma investigação em torno de evolução histórica da imigração desta comunidade no mundo, na União Europeia e posteriormente em Portugal, tendo em consideração os processos de integração através de redes digitais e dos respetivos sistemas tecnológicos. A integração dos imigrantes da CPLP na sociedade portuguesa é um processo desafiador e de grande importância, no sentido da promoção da diversidade cultural e da inclusão social. Os imigrantes enfrentam barreiras como a língua, a burocracia, o reconhecimento de qualificações e a discriminação. No entanto, o governo português tem implementado políticas e programas de apoio para facilitar a integração desses imigrantes, ainda que grande parte destas comunidades utilizem sistemas informais de integração através das novas tecnologias. Oriundos de países com hábitos e culturas diversas, os imigrantes têm, com frequência, dificuldades de inserção social, representando um problema para os governos dos países de acolhimento que procuram desenvolver medidas integradoras nas mais diversas esferas da vida em sociedade, com realce para a habitação, saúde e educação. Com recurso à caracterização da realidade migratória em Portugal e à execução de um inquérito por questionário com 120 respostas válidas, junto de vários imigrantes da CPLP, pretendemos analisar que estratégias digitais foram utilizadas pelos imigrantes na integração em Portugal e quais as dificuldades e constrangimentos maiores desse processo. This study aims to present results on the integration process of immigrants from the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) in Portugal, taking into the use of some digital networks. To this end, an investigation began into the historical evolution of this community's immigration around the world, in the European Union and later in Portugal, taking into integration processes through digital networks and the respective technological systems. The integration of CPLP immigrants into Portuguese society is a challenging and extremely important process in terms of promoting cultural diversity and social inclusion. Immigrants face barriers such as language, bureaucracy, recognition of qualifications and discrimination. However, the Portuguese government has implemented policies and support programs to facilitate the integration of these immigrants, even though a large part of these communities use informal integration systems through new technologies. Often coming from countries with different cultures, immigrants have difficulties in social integration, representing a problem for the governments of the host countries who seek to develop integrative measures in the most diverse spheres of life in society, with emphasis on housing, health, education, among others. Using the characterization of the migratory reality in Portugal and the application of a questionnaire survey with 120 valid responses, together with several immigrants from the CPLP, we intend to analyze which digital strategies were used by immigrants in their integration in Portugal and wee the difficulties and major constraints of this process.
