In view of the growing information on organizational processes and their dissemination in the market, a great distinction between companies is found in their human resources and in what they are not able to create. In this way, it can be said that human resources are the main asset of today's companies. In order to develop and enhance the skills of their resources, more and more companies search for coaching strategies, being the main objective of this work, understand how leadership and emotional intelligence influence this strategy. Using a quantitative methodology and applying a questionnaire to 41 people through Google Forms, we conclude that coaching is related to the new paradigm of participatory leadership, in which leaders are committed to people and to organizational results. Emotional Intelligence, namely, or emotional control, proves to be an essential tool for a successful coaching process.
