Resumo
Esta tese de mestrado está relacionada com a atitude dos professores e dos alunos face ao ensino
da dança em escolas públicas de Lisboa e Oeiras, destacando o papel da dança na educação e a
forma como tem vindo a ser implementada através da educação física escolar.
Aproveitamos este momento para refletir sobre o ensino da dança em algumas escolas públicas
de Portugal. Seguimos uma metodologia qualitativa e utilizamos a entrevista estruturada de
forma aberta, como técnica de inquirição, permitindo-nos auscultar os agentes educativos em
estudo. Neste trabalho é nossa pretensão contribuir para a promoção da dança como uma
ferramenta que pode originar um intercâmbio cultural e artístico entre todos os jovens
estudantes de cada escola, traduzido numa interação permanente e na troca de experiências
relacionadas com os diversos usos e costumes deste País e ainda estimular a prática da dança
inclusiva nas suas diferentes facetas. Por outro lado estas ações podem estar inseridas numa
lógica multidisciplinar que facilite e promova o sucesso escolar e uma melhor integração dos
alunos no ambiente escolar onde estão inseridos.
This master's thesis is related to the attitude of the teachers and of the students against the teaching of dance in public schools in Lisbon and Oeiras, highlighting the role of dance in education and how it has been implemented through the school physical education. We take this moment to reflect on the teaching of dance in some public schools in Portugal. We follow a qualitative methodology and use the structured interview openly, as a technique of inquiry, allowing us to listen to the educational agents under study. In this work it is our intention to contribute to the promotion of dance as a tool that can lead to a cultural and artistic exchange among all young students from each school, translated in a permanent interaction and exchange of experiences relating to the various uses and customs of this country and still stimulate the practice of inclusive dance in its various facets. On the other hand these actions can be inserted in a multidisciplinary logic that facilitates and promotes school success and a better integration of the students in the school environment where they are inserted.
