Resumo
Iniciámos a atividade docente antes da profissionalização do curso de licenciatura em
Educação Física e Desporto pré Bolonha. No ano letivo 1997/1998 concluímos o estágio
profissionalizante e no ano seguinte começámos a atividade docente como professor
profissionalizado.
Daí a esta parte temos vivido com a missão de ser professor de educação física,
dotando os nossos jovens com uma literacia física multilateral e eclética, com um conjunto de
competências pessoais, emocionais e sociais, fundamentais a uma vida harmoniosa em
sociedade. Tem sido uma carreira muito enriquecedora, proporcionando-nos um crescimento e
uma evolução constantes, os quais são a base da nossa partilha e da nossa atividade como
docente.
Pretendemos com este relatório, descrever a nossa realidade na escola e a nossa forma
de estar no ensino, afirmando sempre que a Educação Física é a disciplina mais completa do
currículo escolar e a que mais poderá transformar o “Homem” em toda a dimensão do seu ser.
Mais do que uma profissão, ser professor de Educação Física é uma “Missão“!

We started the teaching activity before the professionalization of the undergraduate course in Physical Education and Sports pre-Bologna. In the 1997/1998 school year we completed the vocational internship and the following year we started teaching as a professionalized teacher. Hence this part we have lived with the mission of being a physical education teacher, endorsing our young people with a multilateral and eclectic physical literacy, with a set of personal, emotional and social skills, fundamental to a harmonious life in society. It has been a very enriching career, providing us with constant growth and evolution, which are the basis of our sharing and our activity as a teacher. We intend with this report to describe our reality at school and our way of being in teaching, always stating that Physical Education is the most complete discipline of the school curriculum and that it can most transform the "Man" in the whole dimension of his being. More than a profession, being a physical education teacher is a "Mission"!
